El artista francés OakOak aterriza en Montana Gallery Barcelona con «Out of the Frame”, su primera exposición en España. OakOak es conocido mundialmente por sus ingeniosas intervenciones que empezaron en las calles de su ciudad natal, Saint Etienne. Calles, bordillos, paredes, bocas de incendio y todo el mobiliario urbano se transforma bajo su mirada.
OakOak no ha estudiado arte, el arte vino a él. Tras trabajar durante años en el sector del urbanismo, un día, allá por 2006, se le ocurrió la idea de pintar tres bocas de incendio y transformarlas en personajes. El resultado fue tan bueno que dio continuidad a estas acciones, dejando finalmente su trabajo y dedicándose por completo al arte y a las intervenciones urbanas. Hoy en día su trabajo se ha difundido a nivel internacional,  convirtiéndose en un artista imprescindible en la escena del arte urbano.

The French artist OakOak arrives at Montana Gallery Barcelona with «Out of the Frame», his first exhibition in Spain. OakOak is known worldwide for his ingenious interventions that started on the streets of his hometown, Saint Etienne. Streets, curbs, walls, fire hydrants and all the urban furniture is transformed under his gaze.

OakOak has not studied art, art came to him. After working for years in the urban planning sector, one day, back in 2006, he came up with the idea of painting three fire hydrants and transforming them into characters. The result was so good that he gave continuity to these actions, finally leaving his work and dedicating himself completely to art and urban interventions. Today his work has spread internationally, becoming an essential artist in the urban art scene.
