Axel Void es un artista de Madre haitiana y padre español nacido en Miami, que siendo aún muy joven se desplazó a vivir a España, donde años después finalizaría sus estudios en Bellas Artes (Cádiz, Granada, Sevilla). Actualmente, tras residir un tiempo en Berlin, vive en Miami.
Su estilo tiene un algo intrigante en el que se aprecian influencias radicalmente alejadas; Por una parte se notan su formación clásica y su interés por el arte pictórico tradicional, que se deja ver en su manera de jugar con las luces y sombras en los retratos y imágenes que pinta, y por otra parte destaca su conocimiento de las claves del arte urbano, que es un claro recordatorio del contacto que el artista ha mantenido con el graffiti desde su adolescencia. Su uso del entorno para adecuar sus obras y, muy especialmente, la potencia de las tipografías que emplea, aparentemente muy simples, suele quedar perfectamente contrastada con los colores utilizados. El resultado final es muy personal y sofisticado.

Axel Void is an artist born in Miami to a Haitian mother and a Spanish father, who being still very young went to live to Spain, where years later finalized their studies in Fine Arts (Cádiz, Granada, Sevilla) .Currently, after some time residing in Berlin, he lives in Miami.
His style has something intriguing, with some influences being radically different each other; On the one hand his classical training and his interest in traditional pictoric art, which can be seen in the way he uses the lights and shadows in portraits and images. On the other, he shows his knowledge of the keys of urban art, in a clear reminder of the contact the artist had with graffiti since his teen years. His use of the environment to adapt their works and, especially, the power of the handwriting tipography he uses, apparently very simple, contrasted perfectly with the colors displayed in the image. The final result is very personal and sophisticated.
