The last weekend between the 9th – 10th June 2018 in Tønsberg (Norway), and within the Færder festival, where between 500 and 700 sailboats arrived from Oslo, a new public art project took place within the well known Streets of Color by Campo Viejo, in which renowned urban artists create artworks and public interventions full of color, inspired by the aesthetics and culture of wine.
This time it was Spanish artist Spok who was commissioned to create an artistic piece full of humor, by customizing an Optimist (the small type of boat used by children when they learn how to navigate) with its peculiar colors and structures, creating a great contrast when floated next to the big ones.
